	(a) Ships upto 3000 GRT subject to minimum of Rs.1500/	1.00 per GRT
	(b) Ships from 3001 GRT to 20000 GRT-subject to maximum of Rs.15000	1.00 per GRT
	(c) Ships 20001 GRT and above	15000+Rs1.00/GRT in excess of 20000 GRT
2. For supply of Duplicate copy of Certificate of Registry
	Provisional Certificate of Registry	500.00
3. For registry of mortgages 10 paise for every Rs.1000/- of the value of mortgage with a minimum charge of Rs.500/-
4. Release of mortgage		500.00
5. Transfer of ownership		1000.00
6. Transfer of share of mortgage		500.00
7. Deletion of Registry		500.00
8. Registry of alteration		500.00
9. For change of Name of a ship		1000.00
(The above fee covers the inspection of markings, the change of name on the loading, certificate and on the Suez and Panama Canal Certificates and in the case of ships holding passenger certificates the issue of fresh declarations and passenger certificates showing the name and any alterations in the ownership and port of registry. The fee also covers the replacement of safety certificates or exemption certificates in the new name.)

11. For inspecting Ship's marking		300.00 per visit
12. For copies of or extracts from or searches for, documents :
	(i) For a certified copy of the particulars entered by the Registrar in the Register Book on the registry of a ship, together with a certified statement showing the ownership of the ship at that time	500.00
	(ii) For a certified copy of any declaration document, a copy of which is made evidence by the Merchant Shipping Act,1958	500.00
	(iii) For a certified copy of, or extracts from document declared by the Merchant Shipping Act,1958, to be admissible in evidence Declaration of Ownership Instrument of Sale Instrument Provisional Certificate of Registry	100.00 per copy
13. Change of Master		250.00
14. For issue of temporary pass or provisional certificate of Indian registry and for extension of the period of temporary pass		1000.00

16. Issue of Certificate of Survey for registration based on plan and particulars of ships
	(i) Vessels upto 5000 GT	4000.00
	(ii) Every additional 1000 GT or part thereof	1,000 subject to maximum Rs.10,000
(a) Measurement for issue of International Tonnage Certificate(1969) or Indian Tonnage Certificate.
(i) First measurement of an Indian Ship or a foreign ship; Re-measurement including underdeck tonnage volume.
	Ships less than 20 mtrs. in length	600/-
	Ships 20 mtrs in length & above	4000/-
	for each 100 tons or part thereof of the gross tonnage	50/-
(ii) Re-measurement not involving under deck tonnage volume.
	For measurement of each space on or above upper deck	500/-
	For measurement for each of the fallowing space,viz.	1000/-
(b) For inspection at the request of owners or by a statutory authority for verification of tonnage and when no re-measurement is required		500/-
(c) For measurement of space occupied by cargounder rule 10		500/- for each space
(d) Measurement of Suez Canal and Panama Canal Tonnage :
	(i) For first measurement of a ship for Suez canal or Panama Canal Tonnage Certificate	The fee in (a)(i) plus three-fifths of that fees
	(ii) For a Suez Canal and a Panama Canal Tonnage Certificate if the measurement are made at the same time.	Two and Quarter times the fee in (a)(i)
	(iii) For re-measurement of a ship following alteration in other than under deck	Fee as in (a)(ii)
(e)	(i) For issue of international Tonnage Certificate(1969) or Indian Tonnage Certificate	500/-
	(ii) For issue of duplicate of International Tonnage Certificate(1969) or Indian Tonnage Certificate	300/-
	(iii) For issue of Suez Canal or Panama Canal Tonnage Certificate	1000/-
	(iv) For issue of an additional copy of Suez Canal or Panama Canal Tonnage Certificates	750/-
	(v) For supply of details of Suez Canal or Panama Canal Tonnage Calculations to the owner	1000/-
